THE GOSPEL

The One God is a trinity of persons. The Father is not the Son or Holy Spirit, neither is the Holy Spirit the Son. They are distinct persons in the one being of God. Just as God spoke of the husband and wife (two flesh persons) as being one (ECHAD) flesh (Genesis 2.24), he in like manner being three persons is one (ECHAD) Spirit (Deuteronomy 6.4)

GOD BECOMES THE SON OF GOD

The Word of God, who is God (John 1.1) becomes the only begotten Son of God by his incarnation (John 1.1-14, Luke 1.31-35, Psalm 2:7-12) . Antichrist cults such as the "Jehovah's witnesses" and Mormon's who reject Jesus as the eternal God, who created all things created (John 1.1-3), would claim that such references of Jesus being called the only begotten or the Son of God means that he was created; this is clearly impossible since the Creator of all creation cannot be a part of creation. But the blind will lead the blind.

The Son of God, is a title for the Word of God that is directly linked to his incarnation (Luke 1.35) and resurrection (Romans 1.4), it also encapsulates his mission, which was to destroy the works of the devil and bringing redemption to his people (1 John 3:8, Daniel 9.24).

1 John 3:8
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Luke 1:31-32,35
And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. [32] He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: [35] And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: THEREFORE also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

The Gospel is the good news that God was manifest in the flesh, taking on the form of man to redeem mankind from the curse of sin.

He was mocked, scourged, spat on, beaten, and crucified upon which he finally died.

On the third day he raised his body and offers redemption for those that believe on him.

John 1:1-3,10
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [2] The same was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. [10] He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

Matthew 27:29-30
And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews! [30] And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.

Matthew 27:26
Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.

Luke 23:45-46
And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst. [46] And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

John 2:19-22
Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. [20] Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? [21] But he spake of the temple of his body. [22] When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

Matthew 28:6
He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

John 3:36
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Romans 1:16-22
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Beware of antichrists that deny the trinity and Jesus being God.
